India Visit Visa – Required Documents

1. Passport

  • Original passport with minimum 6 months validity beyond intended departure date.

  • Minimum two blank pages for visa stamps.

  • Copies of previous passports and visas issued.

  • Attach all old passports (if any).

2. India Visa Application Form

  • Complete the online visa application form and sign it.

3. Photographs

  • Two recent passport-size photographs (white background, no border, 2” × 2”).

  • Photographs must be taken within the last 3 months, not scanned/stapled, and not used in previous visas.

4. Invitation Letter (if applicable)

  • Required for business visa applicants.

5. Forwarding Letter / NOC

  • Forwarding Letter/NOC from the applicant’s company authority on official letterhead, stating:

    • Applicant’s name

    • Designation

    • Passport number

    • Purpose and duration of visit

  • For students: visa request letter from the educational institute or student card / school enrollment evidence.

6. Proof of Occupation

  • Company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy) – especially for first-time travelers or proprietors.

  • Office ID card copy.

7. Financial Documents

  • Company’s or personal bank statement for the last 6 months, showing bank name and bank telephone number clearly.

8. National ID

  • NID copy.

9. Proof of Residence

  • Copy of electricity bill (or other valid proof of residence).
